About the position

The Executive Assistant will support a team of investment professionals at a mission-driven investment firm in Houston, TX. This role requires a proactive individual who thrives in a fast-paced, community-oriented environment, managing various administrative tasks while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.

Responsibilities

  • Manage heavy calendars and prioritize conflicting appointments
  • Book internal and external meetings
  • Prepare professionals with materials needed for meetings
  • Arrange domestic and international travel including flights, hotels, car services, and dinner reservations
  • Process monthly travel and expense reports
  • Handle ad hoc projects as needed
  • Always maintain a sense of confidentiality

Requirements

  • 4-6+ years of administrative experience supporting a team
  • Must be poised and tactful at all times
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment
  • Superb written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail when composing and proofing materials
  • Must be punctual and dependable
  • Strong initiative and ownership of responsibilities
  • Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
  • Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office Skills (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
