About the position

The Executive Assistant to the CEO/Dean at California College of ASU provides high-level executive support, ensuring the efficient operation of the executive office. This role involves serving as a liaison to senior management teams, organizing outreach and external relations efforts, and overseeing special projects. The Executive Assistant must exercise good judgment in various situations and possess strong communication, administrative, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

  • Independently research, prioritize, and follow up on issues addressed to the CEO/Dean, including sensitive matters.
  • Prepare and review correspondence and speeches for the CEO/Dean, including presentations and decks.
  • Coordinate the day-to-day activities of the CEO/Dean and maintain a complex calendar and schedule.
  • Prepare financial and budgetary reports for the CEO/Dean.
  • Research, analyze, and assist in developing policies for the College Dean's Office.
  • Coordinate goal setting and strategic planning for divisions reporting to the CEO/Dean.
  • Organize special internal and external events and projects.
  • Represent the CEO/Dean on internal and external committees and task forces as directed.
  • Provide high-level administrative and logistical support to the CEO/Dean.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • A minimum of twelve (12) years of experience in a Senior Executive Administrative Assistant role, or a Master's degree in Business Administration or related field and four (4) years of related experience, or a Bachelor's degree in related field and eight (8) years of related experience.
  • Knowledge and understanding of College organization, goals, and objectives, and policies and procedures.
  • Demonstrated leadership, decorum, and management skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Programs, specifically Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other presentation software.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with diverse audiences.
  • Excellent organizational and presentation skills.
