About the position

The Gospel Center Rescue Mission, Inc. is seeking an Executive Assistant to the CEO to provide comprehensive administrative support in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of the CEO's office and involves a variety of tasks that require a high level of organization, discretion, and professionalism. The Executive Assistant will be responsible for managing the CEO's calendar, coordinating travel logistics, and handling sensitive information with confidentiality. The ideal candidate will thrive in a mission-driven organization focused on serving the homeless and addicted in San Joaquin County, embodying the values of compassion and service that are central to the Gospel Center Rescue Mission's mission. In this role, the Executive Assistant will perform a range of administrative tasks, including drafting, editing, and proofreading business correspondence and presentations. The position requires a detail-oriented individual who can prioritize and organize a diversified workload effectively. The Executive Assistant will also assist with marketing and practice development activities, including event planning and maintaining donor relationship management data. Additionally, the role includes managing the Rescue Mission Scholarship Program and supporting various special projects as assigned. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong multi-tasking abilities and a commitment to providing high-level customer service while maintaining confidentiality in all interactions.

Responsibilities

  • Performs a variety of administrative tasks and is responsible for providing proactive support to the CEO
  • Detail oriented is required to plan, prioritize and organize a diversified workload in a fast paced Homeless Rescue Mission Environment that is ever so changing daily
  • Provides proactive executive level support; while maintaining confidentiality and a high level of customer service
  • Proactively manages CEO calendar and travel logistics and reconciles CEO Visa
  • Draft, edit and proofread business correspondence and presentations
  • Assist with support of marketing/practice development activities, including events, marketing materials and Donor Relationship Management data maintenance
  • Manages Rescue Mission Scholarship Program
  • Other duties and special projects as assigned
  • Multi-tasking at a high level and pace

Requirements

  • Acceptance of a Christian Statement of Faith
  • High School Diploma/GED required, College or secretarial training preferred
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis upon hire
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Judgement and ability to prioritize to effectively manage work load
  • Ability to handle sensitive situations and confidential information with discretion
  • Advanced computer skills
  • Proficient in GSuite and Microsoft Office
  • Spreadsheet and calendar experience
  • Communication with Senior Level Donors
  • Previous experience as an Executive Assistant
  • Strong IT skill set
