The Executive Assistant to the Chief of Schools plays a crucial role in providing comprehensive administrative support to ensure that the Chief of Schools can focus on strategic priorities. The Executive Assistant is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations related to the Chief of Schools' calendar, schedule, and meetings, ensuring that all logistical, operational, and financial responsibilities are handled efficiently and effectively. In this role, the Executive Assistant will anticipate operational and logistical needs, ensuring that all functions are completed with a high degree of precision and professionalism. The position involves supporting the preparation of reports, briefings, and presentations, as well as serving as the frontline ambassador for the Chief of Schools. This includes managing strategic work, creating effective agendas, scheduling meetings, taking notes, and following up on action items. The Executive Assistant will also provide top-notch customer service to all stakeholders, fostering effective communication and partnerships across the district. Collaboration is key in this role, as the Executive Assistant will work with various stakeholders to implement strategic initiatives and will be involved in cross-departmental teams to ensure effective execution of projects. Additionally, the Executive Assistant will be responsible for entering budget data into financial accounting software and reconciling any discrepancies. This position requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to the success of all schools and district departments.
