About the position

The Executive Assistant to the President at Arizona Clinical Research Center (ACRC) plays a crucial role in providing comprehensive administrative support to the President/Research Director. This position is essential for ensuring the smooth operation of the office and facilitating effective communication within the organization. The Executive Assistant will be responsible for composing confidential correspondence, forms, and reports, as well as interpreting and explaining established policies and procedures in response to inquiries from various sources. Maintaining filing systems and records, document control, and tracking will also be key responsibilities of this role. The Executive Assistant will summarize reports and information to facilitate review by the President/Research Director and will be tasked with investigating, evaluating, and resolving problems within the scope of their position. The ideal candidate for this position will be highly organized and possess strong phone skills, along with superior verbal and written communication abilities. The role requires the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and to shift priorities effectively as needed. A background in science or medicine is preferred, as it will enhance the Executive Assistant's ability to understand the context of the work being done at ACRC. Excellent computer skills are a must, as the Executive Assistant will be expected to utilize various software applications to perform their duties efficiently. This full-time position operates on a day shift schedule from Monday to Friday, and the successful candidate will be expected to work in person at the Tucson, AZ location.

Responsibilities
