About the position

The Executive Assistant to the Superintendent plays a crucial role in supporting the new superintendent during a significant transition period for Pasco County Schools. This position involves managing the superintendent's time and commitments effectively, providing essential administrative support, and adapting to new leadership priorities. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, flexible, and capable of interacting with various stakeholders in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the superintendent's schedule and commitments effectively.
  • Provide administrative support to the superintendent's office.
  • Adapt to new leadership priorities and changes in the school district.
  • Interact with staff at all levels and members of the Board of Directors.
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality in all communications.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
  • Five years of experience in an executive setting or within education administration, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
  • Experience in supporting leadership transitions.
