The Town of Mansfield, Connecticut, is seeking to fill the Executive Assistant position in the Office of the Town Manager. This role is essential for providing comprehensive administrative and clerical support to the Town Manager's Office, which includes Human Resources, the Town Council, and various assigned boards and commissions. The ideal candidate will possess a strong administrative and communications skillset, enabling them to establish collaborative working relationships with town staff, officials, and the general public. The Executive Assistant will be responsible for preparing, posting, and distributing Council and Committee agendas, minutes, and packets, as well as administering meeting technology. Additionally, the role involves preparing reports and briefing materials, maintaining the Town Manager's schedule, and responding to citizen inquiries. The Executive Assistant will also coordinate special projects and events, maintain filing systems and records, and process bills. This position is part-time, requiring approximately 35 hours of work per week, typically spread over four consecutive days from Monday to Thursday, with occasional evening or weekend work to accommodate Town Council meetings and operational needs.
