About the position

The Executive Assistant will perform complex administrative duties that are essential for the smooth operation of the office. Responsibilities include organizing, administering, and coordinating the office's workload, which involves preparing correspondence, agendas, minutes, and reports. The assistant will maintain records and confidential files, monitor budgets, organize travel and event-related details, and prepare and staff board meetings for which the Vice President is responsible. This position requires a high level of confidentiality and discretion in handling sensitive information. Candidates should possess an associate's degree, with a bachelor's degree preferred, and have at least six years of office administration experience in a fast-paced, multifaceted office environment, preferably within higher education. Expertise in various software applications is essential, along with excellent organizational abilities, attention to detail, and strong written and verbal communication skills.
