About the position

The Executive Assistant to the Vice President of Account Management at Accredo plays a crucial role in providing advanced administrative support to the VP and their team. This position involves a variety of tasks that are essential for the smooth operation of the department. The Executive Assistant will handle telephone calls, schedule appointments, manage filing systems, and make travel arrangements for the Vice President and their direct reports. Additionally, the role requires coordination and preparation of materials for meetings and presentations, ensuring that all necessary documentation is ready and organized. In this position, the Executive Assistant will also be responsible for composing correspondence, preparing reports, and tracking and maintaining the department's budget. This includes managing the invoicing process, coordinating procurement, and overseeing accounts payable processes. The Executive Assistant will provide logistical support to the department, which encompasses remedy requests, organization of the fax/copy/mail area, and ordering supplies. Furthermore, the role involves coordinating the onboarding process for new employees and maintaining the general organization of common spaces within the department. Special projects may also be assigned, such as department moves and project tracking, which will require strong organizational skills and attention to detail. The Executive Assistant will work closely with the Vice President and other team members, contributing to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the department. Responsibilities

  • Provide advanced administrative support to the Vice President and their team.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 4+ years of relevant experience in an administrative support role.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills for professional interactions.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Proficient with internet and email systems.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Knowledge of business operations and policies is helpful.
