About the position

Movida Restaurant & Lounge, located in the vibrant Soma Area of San Francisco, is seeking a dynamic Executive Assistant / Administrative Assistant to join our team. This part-time position offers a unique opportunity to work in an exciting destination that serves as both a neighborhood dining spot and a lively event venue. The ideal candidate will be proactive and versatile, capable of managing various responsibilities that contribute to the overall success of our operations. In this role, you will be responsible for filling up our event calendar, administering our employee experience program, and managing events. This position requires someone who can wear many hats and juggle multiple projects simultaneously. A significant aspect of the job involves vendor management, where you will own events and collaborate with vendors to execute activations on the property. The workload is approximately 5-10 hours per week, which includes taking inventory and assisting with various administrative duties and tasks. We are looking for candidates who have at least 2 years of experience in fine dining restaurants and possess a passion for hospitality. You should be dedicated to creating unique experiences for our guests and come equipped with solutions to any challenges that may arise. A love for food and wine, along with a desire to continually learn, is essential. Attention to detail and a flexible schedule, including availability for nights, weekends, and occasional holidays, are also important attributes for this role.
