About the position

This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced administrative professional who has a passion to learn and pitch in wherever needed. The Executive Assistant will play a crucial role in supporting the Corporate Strategy team at Bose, which is responsible for some of the company's most important business and growth initiatives. This role requires both strong organizational and process skills related to administrative duties, as well as creativity and resourcefulness in solving problems in support of aligned leaders and teams. The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated self-starter, organized, detail-oriented, and capable of handling confidential and sensitive information with discretion. The Executive Assistant will manage complex calendars and scheduling, requiring internal and external coordination. This includes anticipating and prioritizing needs to make complex schedules work, managing and submitting expense reports, and providing the highest level of customer service. The candidate will act as a liaison between the administrative team, executives, and customers to ensure seamless communication and proper follow-through. Additionally, the role involves assisting with the organization and preparation of documents and materials for team meetings, coordinating meetings internally and externally, and providing support for onsite visits and events in coordination with aligned teams. The successful candidate will have over 5 years of experience directly supporting VP, SVP, or C-level leadership, and will be known for being thorough and detail-oriented. They will continuously look for ways to contribute, proactively assessing the needs of the business and offering assistance and support. This position is integral to the success of the Corporate Strategy team and requires a candidate who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is adept at managing ever-shifting priorities.

Responsibilities

  • Manage complex calendaring and scheduling, requiring internal and external coordination.
  • Anticipate, prioritize and partner to make complex schedules work.
  • Manage and submit expense reports.
  • Handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Provide the highest level of customer service; acting as liaison between the administrative team, executives, and customers to ensure seamless communication and proper follow through.
  • Assist with organization and preparation of documents and materials for team meetings.
  • Communicate as liaison with other internal departments.
  • Coordinate meetings internally and externally, preparation of agenda, meeting facilities and distribution of materials.
  • Provide support for onsite visits and events in coordination with aligned teams.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience directly supporting VP, SVP, or C-level leadership.
  • Strong experience in Microsoft Office suite (e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint, etc.).
  • Ability to manage complex calendars and scheduling.
  • Experience in handling confidential information with discretion.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
