About the position

The Office Leader is primarily responsible for the logistical support for the Central Group Leader and the Financial Operations Group (FOG). This role is responsible for collaborating with their leader to cast vision, provide direction, and lead ministry efforts within their area of influence to outcomes that further Life.Church's mission and reach people for Christ. At Life.Church, we exist to lead people to become fully devoted followers of Christ. It's been our mission since 1996 and has guided us every day. Leading people isn't just an expectation; it's a necessity. It's a cornerstone of our culture. That's why we're always seeking leaders—leaders like you—to bring your skills to life. We are one church meeting in multiple locations, and we want to help you become the person God made you to be. In this role, you will support the FOG leadership group so they can give their time and energy to the things that matter most. You will develop and maintain relationships with all FOG staff to better anticipate and understand needs, advocate on behalf of FOG leaders and team members, and regularly meet with FOG Directors to influence direction, speak into development, and represent the FOG leadership group. Your responsibilities will include planning events, off-sites, meeting preparation, calendar and inbox management, expense reporting, and travel planning for the FOG leadership group. You will lead FOG Operations and direct report to successful outcomes of team and organization initiatives, oversee and support the interview and screening processes, and provide guidance and recommendations with the team and organizational situations. Additionally, you will partner with FOG team members and leaders to provide leadership, perspective, and administrative support, onboard new staff, interns, and volunteers, and recruit and maintain volunteers and interns, including communication, appreciation, and team coordination. Training and communicating efficiently and effectively, both internally and externally, by providing agendas and content to support various audiences will also be part of your role.
