To support this mission, Strava is seeking an Executive Assistant to the CEO. This role is crucial as it involves serving as the right-hand support to the CEO, managing all aspects of their calendar, and providing a range of administrative support. A typical day for the Executive Assistant may include balancing calendars, collaborating with Strava's leadership team to prioritize tasks, coordinating activities with the Board of Directors, arranging travel and events, managing expenses, and partnering with other Executive Assistants on various projects and events. The role is hybrid, based in San Francisco, CA, and requires a commitment to fostering a diverse and equitable workplace, aligning with Strava's value of Antiracism. The ideal candidate will share a passion for these values and be dedicated to incorporating antiracist strategies into the company's culture and processes over time.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the lead administrative business partner to Strava's CEO
  • Be a thought partner to the CEO's Chief of Staff
  • Manage the CEO's complex calendar and scheduling requirements
  • Interact with the Board of Directors and other influential leaders
  • Regularly balance and prioritize initiatives, drive completion of key deliverables, and follow up on outstanding items
  • Prepare meeting materials and coordinate logistics
  • Effectively answer inquiries of executive leadership and stakeholders, interacting effectively by phone, in writing, and in person
  • Be a problem solver while supporting the company's culture
  • Coordinate and arrange travel, including international and multi-city travel
  • Complete expense reports, purchase orders, and contracts, and manage corporate card purchases; participate in budget planning and tracking as needed
  • Assist with special projects and events as needed

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience assisting senior leaders, with experience at the executive and/or board level
  • Positive, open-minded, and collaborative approach to support a growing organization
  • Honest, trustworthy, dependable, and able to safeguard sensitive information
  • Incredibly organized with outstanding attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects at different stages
  • Excellent customer service orientation, friendly, responsive, and eager to help a variety of stakeholders
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, blending professionalism and friendliness
  • Commitment to learning about antiracism and supporting Strava's diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts
  • High proficiency using Google Suite and other organizational tools
