The Executive Assistant will provide direct administrative support to the Director of Regenerative Food Systems and the Co-Director of Regenerative Food Low Emission Beef within the Provide Food & Water Business Unit at The Nature Conservancy (TNC). This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of the team by managing various administrative tasks. Responsibilities will include making domestic and international travel arrangements, managing calendars, answering phones, drafting correspondence, processing expenses, and coordinating logistics for meetings and special events. The Executive Assistant will act independently on assigned tasks, exercising judgment based on analysis and experience, and will work within the scope of the program's strategic goals. In addition to standard administrative duties, the Executive Assistant will coordinate projects that involve multiple variables and adhere to defined timelines and budgets. They will handle sensitive information with discretion and ensure compliance with Conservancy policies and external requirements, including those from donors and legal entities. The role also involves making purchases, processing invoices, contracting with vendors, and assisting with budget preparation. The Executive Assistant will provide input through project teams for the improvement of existing programs and will refer complex questions and unusual problems to their supervisor. This position requires flexibility in working hours and may involve travel, although the work environment is generally stable with only minor physical demands. This full-time, remote position allows for work from anywhere that TNC can operate, provided the candidate can work during the US Eastern Time Zone.
