About the position

The Executive Assistant will support the executive team in a rapidly growing company, focusing on financial management and administrative tasks. The role requires a proactive individual with a positive attitude, capable of handling various responsibilities including cash management, financial recordkeeping, and assisting with special projects.

Responsibilities

  • Process checks, transfers, and wires for personal and business expenses.
  • Manage charity requests and receipts, tracking them accordingly.
  • Monitor personal bank account activity.
  • Reconcile bank and investment accounts monthly.
  • Track investments, loans, and other financial activities using spreadsheets and accounting software.
  • Work on personal financial statements semi-annually, gathering information and compiling it with the financial team.
  • Research, analyze, and summarize various topics upon request.
  • Assist the office manager with technology requests and troubleshooting.
  • Help in-house attorneys with legal paperwork, including applications and certifications.
  • Assist with general office organization.

Requirements

  • Experience in cash management or bookkeeping.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to maintain detailed files.
  • Proficiency in software such as Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting software.
  • Flexibility to take on different tasks.
