About the position

KPMG is seeking an Executive Assistant to join our Administrative Services team within the Administrative & Office Experience organization. This role is pivotal in providing a broad scope of administrative services that are essential for the smooth operation of our office. The Executive Assistant will manage calendars, coordinate meetings and events, arrange catering and travel, and provide support for client engagement setup and billing. Additionally, the role involves performing client and industry research, drafting communications and presentations, and assisting with marketing efforts. The Executive Assistant will also be responsible for building relationships with both internal and external clients, understanding their priorities and preferences to meet expectations and add value. Professionalism and discretion are paramount, as the role requires handling confidential information and acting as a liaison between teams and clients. The Executive Assistant will work collaboratively with team members to navigate and resolve day-to-day challenges related to services, technology, and relationships. Participation in Administrative Services team meetings and internal project teams is expected to enhance knowledge and contribute to the success of various initiatives. The ability to prioritize competing requirements and deadlines effectively is crucial in this fast-paced environment. Responsibilities

  • Provide a broad scope of administrative services, including managing calendars, coordinating meetings and events, arranging catering and travel, and providing engagement setup and client billing support.
  • Perform client and industry research, draft letters, communications, and presentations, and assist with marketing efforts.
  • Build relationships with internal and external clients, understanding their priorities and preferences to meet expectations and add value.
  • Demonstrate professionalism and tact in all interactions, acting as a liaison with team members, management, and external clients while handling confidential information with discretion.
  • Collaborate with team members to navigate and solve day-to-day problems related to services, technology, and relationships.
  • Actively participate in Administrative Services team meetings and serve on internal project teams to grow knowledge and skills.
  • Prioritize competing requirements and deadlines effectively.

Requirements

  • Minimum five years of recent experience in administrative services or customer service-related role; industry knowledge in Audit, Tax, or Advisory services preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with individuals at all levels of responsibility and authority.
  • Excellent analytical or research skills with the capability to take initiative in identifying solutions and communicating findings.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications and excellent web-based research skills.
  • Ability to work effectively on a team with common goals and responsibilities, leveraging strengths and diverse perspectives.
