About the position

Gundersen Health System is seeking an Executive Assistant to join our growing and thriving organization in La Crosse, Wisconsin. This position is integral to providing exceptional customer service and effective engagement to patients, embodying our core philosophy of Love + Medicine. The Executive Assistant will support a Vice President and collaborate with three Managers and one Director, ensuring smooth operations within the Medical Education department. The role requires a professional who is detail-oriented, efficient in technology and systems, and flexible in their approach to work. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a supportive environment that values work-life balance and personal growth. The position offers a private office and the flexibility to work from home one day a week, with hours primarily between 7 AM and 5 PM, Monday through Friday. In this role, you will be responsible for creating the best first and last impressions for our patients, partnering with a team of medical professionals and managers to support patient health journeys. You will perform a variety of complex and advanced administrative tasks, serve as a liaison with external stakeholders, and demonstrate initiative and independence in managing the workflow of the executive you support. Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Associate's degree in Business or a related field.
  • 2 years of experience in an administrative capacity.
