The Executive Assistant will play a crucial role in managing the owner's calendar, handling a high volume of emails, and ensuring that projects are completed on time. In this position, the Executive Assistant will be responsible for sophisticated calendar management, which includes scheduling appointments and ensuring that the owner is prepared for meetings. Email triage will be a significant part of the role, as the assistant will need to manage a high volume inbox effectively. The successful candidate will also ensure that projects are brought to completion and that tasks are completed as scheduled, demonstrating strong time management skills. Additionally, the Executive Assistant will be responsible for making travel arrangements, managing professional relationships on behalf of the owner, and ensuring that the work environment is conducive to productivity and creativity. Attending firm meetings to memorialize important information and complete action items will also be part of the role. The firm has established great policies, systems, and procedures, providing clear expectations and guidance. However, the ideal candidate will also possess the intelligence and initiative to make decisions and think independently, contributing positively to the firm's direction.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as an Executive Assistant preferred
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a professional office setting required
  • Experience with Microsoft products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.) and strong ability to learn new programs
  • Superb communication skills, both written and verbal, as well as interpersonal skills and time management
  • Ability to follow directions, stay organized, and take ownership of projects and tasks
  • Minimum of a High school diploma or GED required
  • Keyboarding ability, 40 words per minute
