About the position

The largest Health Care provider in the East Bay is currently seeking an experienced Executive Assistant to join the organization. This role is critical in providing high-level administrative support to executives at the Manager and Director levels. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 to 7 years of experience in administrative roles, specifically supporting senior management. The Executive Assistant will be responsible for managing complex calendars, coordinating meetings, and ensuring that all administrative tasks are executed efficiently and effectively. This position requires a strong understanding of the organization’s policies and processes, as well as the ability to learn and adapt quickly to the dynamic environment of a large healthcare provider. In this role, the Executive Assistant will utilize their strong writing skills to create detailed correspondence and reports. Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite is essential, with a focus on Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access, depending on departmental needs. Familiarity with Lotus Notes is considered a plus. The candidate must also possess a working knowledge of standard office equipment, including fax machines, phones, and copiers. The ability to manage multiple calendars and arrange meetings is crucial, as is the capacity to understand the needs of a complex organization and its customers. A High School Diploma or GED is required, while a BA/BS degree is preferred.
