About the position

Socket Telecom, LLC is seeking a highly motivated and skilled individual to join our team as a Network Engineer. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our network infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and reliability. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot network issues, optimize network performance, and implement new technologies that align with our business goals. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in networking principles, protocols, and technologies, as well as experience with network security and monitoring tools. As a Network Engineer, you will be tasked with developing and maintaining network documentation, including diagrams and configuration files. You will also be responsible for monitoring network performance and capacity, identifying potential issues before they impact operations, and implementing solutions to enhance network efficiency. Additionally, you will collaborate with vendors and service providers to ensure that our network infrastructure meets the highest standards of performance and security. This position requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. You will be expected to stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies, and to provide recommendations for improvements to our network infrastructure. Nice-to-haves

  • Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification.
