About the position

An exciting finance startup is looking for an Executive Assistant to support the Founder/CEO. In this role, you will be responsible for booking international and domestic travel, putting together detailed travel itineraries, scheduling meetings, and managing a very busy Outlook calendar. You will also act as a gatekeeper, ensuring that the CEO's time is managed effectively, and complete special projects for the CEO's other businesses. This position requires a strong business acumen, as you will sit in on high-profile meetings, take meeting minutes, and act as a decision maker when necessary. The ideal candidate will be organized, proactive, and able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining a high level of professionalism. The Executive Assistant will work closely with the CEO and other executives, providing essential support to ensure the smooth operation of the office. You will be expected to manage correspondence professionally, handle sensitive information with discretion, and maintain confidentiality at all times. Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively are crucial for success in this role. Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities will also be key, as you will be responsible for managing various administrative tasks and projects that arise in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint, is essential for this position. This is an onsite position in West Hollywood, with some flexibility to work from home, and it is a contract-to-hire opportunity with a salary range of $80,000 to $100,000.
