About the position

The Executive Assistant at University of Utah Health provides direct administrative support to executive leaders within the healthcare system. This role is essential for ensuring effective communication, organization, and operational efficiency, contributing to the overall mission of enhancing health and well-being through patient care, research, and education.

Responsibilities

  • Consistent written and oral communication with leaders, staff, and external contacts.
  • Editing and proofing communications for grammar and spelling.
  • Proficient use of MS Office tools, including Word and PowerPoint.
  • Taking meeting notes and summarizing action items.
  • Creating PowerPoint presentations and supporting large meetings via Teams, Skype, or Zoom.
  • Using functions of the Multi-Functional Printer/Copier/Scanner.
  • Managing paper files and creating a system for easy retrieval.
  • Investigating various topics through internet or library searches and summarizing findings.
  • Reviewing calendars and planning necessary steps for meetings.
  • Demonstrating teamwork with other executive assistants and developing strong cooperation skills.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree or equivalent.
  • Four years of Executive Assistant experience or equivalent.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, including PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, or related field.
