About the position

Justice Federal Credit Union is seeking an experienced, organized, and self-motivated Executive Assistant to provide comprehensive administrative support to the President/CEO and other members of the Executive Team. This position is crucial in ensuring that the Executive Team's needs are met in a professional, efficient, and confidential manner. The role requires a high level of attention to detail and the ability to work as part of a team with a sense of urgency. The position is 100% onsite at the headquarters in Chantilly, VA, and is classified as temporary-to-hire. The Executive Assistant will be responsible for a wide range of administrative tasks, including calendar management, executive logistics, expense reports, meeting coordination, and special projects. This individual will also coordinate and attend Board of Directors Meetings and Strategic Planning Sessions as needed, ensuring that all necessary materials are prepared and distributed. Additionally, the Executive Assistant will be tasked with preparing meeting minutes, which includes the accurate transcription of confidential information, and distributing or archiving these minutes as appropriate. This role is essential for maintaining effective communication and relationships with members, business partners, vendors, outside organizations, and community relationships. The Executive Assistant will play a key role in supporting the Executive Team's initiatives and ensuring that their operations run smoothly.

Responsibilities

  • Supports the Executive Team in their work with Members, business partners, vendors, outside organizations and community relationships.
  • Responsible for calendar management, executive logistics, expense reports, meeting coordination, and special projects to support the Executive Team.
  • Coordinates and attends Board of Directors Meetings and Strategic Planning Sessions as needed.
  • Prepares meeting minutes including accurate transcription of confidential information and distributes or archives as appropriate.

Requirements

  • Minimum of three years of similar or related experience.
  • Minimum of a two-year college degree or completion of specialized training completed by vendors.
  • Must be able to push, pull, or lift up to 50 lbs., as needed, and requires extended periods of sitting and/or standing and to be able to use PC, copier, scanner, fax, etc.
