The Executive Assistant will provide direct administrative support to the Director of Regenerative Food Systems and the Co-Director of Regenerative Food Low Emission Beef within the Provide Food & Water Business Unit at The Nature Conservancy (TNC). This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of the team by managing various administrative tasks. Responsibilities will include arranging domestic and international travel, managing calendars, answering phone calls, drafting correspondence, processing expenses, and coordinating logistics for meetings and special events. The Executive Assistant will work independently on assigned tasks, exercising judgment based on analysis and experience, and will be expected to navigate a diversified work environment that may not always adhere to established practices and guidelines. In addition to administrative duties, the Executive Assistant will coordinate projects that involve multiple variables, working within defined timelines and budgets. They will handle sensitive information with discretion, ensuring compliance with TNC policies and external requirements. The role also involves making purchases, processing invoices, contracting with vendors, and assisting in budget preparation. The Executive Assistant will provide input for the improvement of existing programs and will refer complex questions and unusual problems to their supervisor. This position requires flexibility in working hours and may involve travel, although the work environment is generally stable with only minor physical demands.
