In this role, AMD is seeking a seasoned communications professional with a proven track record in planning and executing communications strategies for a dynamic, global organization. The focus will be on supporting the Chief Commercial Officer and the sales team in driving thought leadership and enhancing brand recognition. Additionally, it is crucial to ensure that the broader AMD community remains aligned and engaged with the company's strategy, values, and growth opportunities. The ideal candidate will be an exceptional communicator and writer, capable of simplifying complex concepts. You will need to manage multiple programs simultaneously in a fast-paced environment and adapt quickly to changing circumstances. Proven success in developing and executing strategic external and employee communications plans is essential, with specific knowledge and experience in the semiconductor market being particularly advantageous. Collaboration with senior executives, other communicators, human resources, and business function leads is critical to align communication programs across the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage strong partnerships with C-suite and senior business/regional leaders.
  • Create and deliver comprehensive external and internal communication strategies to support thought leadership, brand recognition, and employee engagement.
  • Collaborate with senior executives as a strategic communications counselor on communication strategies and activities.
  • Address general employee engagement needs in partnership with business functions.
  • Drive content creation and oversee the development of presentations and PowerPoints.
  • Simplify complex issues into concise communications deliverables to effectively convey the company's perspective.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in public relations, corporate communications, or internal communications experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in planning and executing communications for a global organization.
  • Proven success in developing and executing strategic external and employee communications plans.
  • Strong writing skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work effectively under deadlines.
  • Experience in narrative development aligned with corporate strategy and vision.
  • Background in creating content for diverse internal/external audiences.

  • Experience in the semiconductor market.
