About the position

The Executive Compensation Analyst will play an integral role in the fast-paced day-to-day Executive Compensation practice as well as in the annual pay planning cycle. Reporting to the Sr. Manager Executive Compensation, the Executive Compensation Analyst supports all matters of the Executive Compensation team, including base pay administration, bonus and incentive development, regulatory and compliance matters, internal and external market considerations, etc. The role will also support preparation of documents to be presented to the Board of Directors' HR and Compensation Committee. As an analytical business partner, the Executive Compensation Analyst will provide compensation administration support, participate in the rollout of Incentive Compensation plans, and assist in any new executive compensation processes, including system configuration and testing. This position requires strong attention to detail and the ability to provide guidance to senior management and the Human Resources community on compensation philosophy, policies, and systems. The Analyst will serve as a resource for the Human Resources community as well as executive leaders, providing salary recommendations using sound compensation fundamentals and an internal review framework. Additionally, the Executive Compensation Analyst will ensure proper alignment to the Leidos job architecture for all existing employees and new hires, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, legal statutes, and internal control requirements of compensation decisions. The role involves proactively evaluating pay practices for alignment with internal and external equity and pay trends, participating in salary surveys, and supporting external market survey maintenance. The Analyst will also support the development of materials to be presented to the Human Resources and Compensation Committee (HRCC) of the Board.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university required.
  • 4+ years of experience in Compensation or a related field, some Executive Compensation experience preferred.
  • Thorough knowledge of compensation philosophies and practices.
  • Excellent analytical skills and ability to interpret and summarize key areas.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Proficiency in office software such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Knowledge of Workday HCM preferred.
