About the position

Supporting the Principal of Executive Compensation Delivery within the Global Total Rewards team, the Global Executive Compensation Delivery Analyst assists in the administration of compensation packages for Level 4 and Level 5 executives. The analyst supports the executive compensation market assessment for each role at Level 4 and 5, as well as maintains documentation and records in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. This role involves providing analytical and consulting support for executive compensation actions and implementation. Your role will consist of drafting compensation analyses for executive Levels 4 and 5, addressing off-cycle adjustments, promotions, new hire offers, retention concerns, etc. Collect data from multiple internal and external sources to inform recommended compensation actions. Conduct market research in support of maintaining competitive and compliant executive compensation packages. Develop and maintain reporting and identify analytic requirements to inform executive compensation decisions at Levels 4+, in partnership with the People Analytics team. Ensure necessary documentation and records are maintained, including those related to legal and regulatory requirements. Document current processes and identify opportunities for continuous improvement. Support executive job analysis and evaluations to determine levels and compensation targets for executive positions. Conduct annual market analyses, in partnership with the Compensation and Benefits Delivery team. Maintain executive data, conduct validations, and address identified data gaps. Support data collection for the annual Proxy Statement and Compensation Discussion and Analysis disclosure. Support M&A data analysis for executives. Serve as ad-hoc contributor to global compensation projects. Perform administrative duties such as scheduling meetings, organizing files, and managing communications related to executive compensation actions and job leveling.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Human Resources, Statistics, Finance, or related field.
  • Minimum of three years of corporate experience in Human Resources, Business, Statistics, Finance, or related role.
  • Preferred five or more years of experience in a related field analyzing, implementing, and administering initiatives and business processes.
  • Professional certification (e.g. CCP, GRP) a plus.
  • Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inferences required.
  • Extensive experience with Microsoft 365 (Excel, Word, and Power Point).
  • Experience with statistical software and/or data reporting tools (e.g., Power BI or Tableau) a plus.
  • Experience with heavy industry, mining, energy, or construction preferred.
  • Knowledge and experience in understanding business, financial, and statistical analyses.
  • Preferred experience and understanding of total rewards philosophies and systems.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, outstanding attention to detail and accuracy, and experience using data to drive decision-making and program enhancements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Capability to simultaneously coordinate multiple projects.
  • Ability to manage own time and team, prioritize effectively and deliver quality product.
  • Flexibility to adapt to requirements from the business and stakeholders.
