About the position

The Executive Creative Director will lead a dynamic creative team at a social-first marketing agency in Atlanta, Georgia. This role is pivotal in shaping the agency's creative vision, fostering a culture of innovation, and ensuring that the team delivers exceptional creative solutions that resonate with clients and their audiences. The position requires a visionary leader with a strong background in digital and social media marketing, who can inspire and mentor a diverse group of creative professionals.

Responsibilities

• Foster a creative culture that empowers team members and encourages innovative thinking.
• Strategically plan and execute creative directions that align with long-term goals.
• Enhance ideation and strengthen relationships across all departments for cohesive project execution.
• Develop the next generation of creative leaders through mentorship and hands-on leadership.
• Collaborate with the strategy team to translate strategic directions into creative solutions.
• Champion a culture of curiosity and innovation, integrating emerging technologies into creative strategies.
• Support business development efforts alongside the Growth Team, including concepting and pitching.

Requirements

• 10+ years in a creative leadership role, preferably in agency settings or with large brands.
• Strong strategic thinking, visual design, and storytelling capabilities.
• Exceptional communication skills for inspiring teams and maintaining client relationships.
• Ability to foster a positive work environment and encourage innovation and collaboration.
• Expertise in branding, marketing, and advertising with a track record of impactful creative outcomes.
• Experience working collaboratively with other departments like strategy and project management.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and understanding of Generative AI Tools.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Basecamp is a plus.
• A robust, award-winning portfolio is preferred.
