About the position

The Executive Director, Clinical Operations at UHealth/SoLé Mia is responsible for the overall direction and management of clinical facilities, ensuring high-quality patient care and operational efficiency. This role involves overseeing fiscal planning, personnel management, compliance with regulations, and the development of policies and procedures to enhance patient and physician satisfaction. The position aims to optimize staffing and resource utilization while planning for future growth and performance improvement activities.

Responsibilities

  • Ensures that all patient, physician, and staff complaints are appropriately addressed in accordance with University policies.
  • Monitors the activities and operations of the assigned units to ensure goals and objectives are met.
  • Develops system-wide policies and procedures, assuring best practices and consistent standardized high-quality care is provided at all locations.
  • Optimizes staffing models, patient throughput, and satisfaction, ensuring efficient utilization of exam room resources.
  • Implements new programs to create innovative approaches to care and establish best practices.
  • Oversees compliance with regulatory agencies and professional organizational standards.
  • Mentors, trains, motivates, and evaluates department staff.
  • Plans for future growth by assessing existing and future program needs, establishing priorities, and identifying fiscal and human resources for development.
  • Participates in planning, promoting, and conducting organization-wide performance improvement activities for areas of responsibility.
  • Ensures internal control oversight and compliance with laws and regulations, safeguarding of assets, and efficiency and effectiveness of operations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Certification in relevant specialty or field.
  • Minimum 7 years of relevant experience.
  • Ability to maintain effective interpersonal relationships.
  • Ability to direct, manage, implement, and evaluate department operations.
  • Ability to establish department goals and objectives that support the strategic plan.
  • Ability to effectively plan, delegate and/or supervise the work of others.
  • Ability to lead, motivate, develop and train others.
