About the position

The Hospice Executive Director will oversee the entire hospice operations, ensuring compliance with corporate policies and state and federal regulations. This role involves managing business operations, clinical operations, business development, financial control, and census growth, while providing leadership and strategic direction to the organization.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all hospice operations including business and clinical operations.
• Ensure compliance with corporate policies and state and federal regulations.
• Manage business development and census growth initiatives.
• Control financial operations including budget development and monitoring.
• Lead and manage the hospice team, fostering a positive work environment.

Requirements

• Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state or ability to obtain.
• Minimum of 2-3 years of recent hospice operations management experience.
• Strong experience in operations, growth strategy, and clinical operations.
• Experience with budgetary responsibilities including budget development and monitoring.
• Broad knowledge of federal and state regulations related to hospice care.
• Outstanding leadership and managerial skills.
• Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and assertiveness skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in Executive Director or Administrator roles.
