About the position

The Executive Director, Human Resources Business Partner is responsible for providing proactive HR leadership and consultation to client groups, directly supporting executive committee members. This role serves as a key advisor to leaders, offering expert HR advice and strategic solutions to align HR programs with business strategies. The position focuses on talent management, organizational design, and change management, ensuring effective delivery of HR services such as talent development, performance management, and employee relations.

Responsibilities

  • Provide guidance and coaching to organizational leaders on business challenges and opportunities.
  • Utilize data analytics to identify trends and implement HR strategies.
  • Ensure organizational effectiveness through alignment of people, processes, and culture with business strategies.
  • Counsel managers on performance management and effective leadership coaching.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Employee Relations to address performance gaps.
  • Shape a culture of innovation and challenge the status quo.
  • Lead Strategic Workforce Planning to identify talent implications of business strategies.
  • Drive an inclusive culture that embraces individual differences.
  • Partner with HR to implement talent acquisition and development initiatives.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience leading a team of HR Business Partners.
  • Expertise in developing and implementing HR strategies with corporate-wide impact.
  • Experience in strategic workforce planning in pharmaceutical settings.
  • Significant expertise in talent management and succession planning.
  • Ability to use data analytics for insights and storytelling.
  • Experience in driving corporate culture and change management initiatives.
  • Expert understanding of organizational effectiveness and employee relations.
  • Experience in HR strategy within manufacturing and supply chain environments.
