The Executive Director of Systems, Operations and Strategy (Chief of Staff) at Mott Community College will serve as a trusted advisor and principal aide to the College President. The Executive Director is tasked with handling complex situations for the President, leading various strategic initiatives, and representing the President as needed. In addition to advising the President, the Executive Director will oversee the day-to-day operations of the President's office, ensuring a customer service-focused vision is articulated and implemented. The role includes supervising the Board Relations Coordinator, Executive Assistant, and Work Study Students. Responsibilities are categorized into four main areas: advising and assisting the President, providing administrative leadership to the President's office, coordinating Board of Trustee interactions and meetings, and representing the President as required. The Executive Director will also focus on building and maintaining relationships both on and off-campus, identifying resolutions for operational and strategic process gaps that enhance employee and student success. The Executive Director is expected to lead by example, embodying the college's mission, vision, and values, particularly focusing on the Mott Community College 3 Cs: Employee Commitment, Student Commitment, Civility, and Compliance.
