About the position

The Executive Director of Analytics and Technology is responsible for leading the analytics strategy within a value-based care framework. This role involves significant collaboration with cross-functional teams to optimize data management, governance, and reporting, while also ensuring the integrity and accuracy of healthcare data. The position requires a strong focus on predictive analysis, healthcare economics, and the implementation of innovative technologies to enhance clinical and financial outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Significant influence and active participation in the creation and execution of the organization's analytics strategy.
  • Lead the analytics team operations, fostering a culture of innovation and continual improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify key data-driven opportunities and challenges.
  • Ensure the integrity, accuracy, and timeliness of delivery of VBC data across the organization.
  • Partner with IT and data teams to optimize data infrastructure and tools.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to monitor and communicate clinical, financial, and operational performance.
  • Utilize statistical methodologies to analyze trends, patterns, and variations in healthcare data.
  • Partner with Finance in support of monthly close, budget, and forecasting cycles with specific focus on healthcare economics.
  • Translate complex data findings into actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to deliver analytics that meet commitments and realize intended value.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • MBA or master's degree preferred in Technology, Analytics, Statistics, Engineering, Data Science, or related.
  • 10+ years of experience with at least five years managerial experience.
  • Deep understanding/proven experience in healthcare analytics and reporting, preferably in value-based care.
  • Proven ability to leverage data to enhance clinical and financial outcomes.
  • Strong project management skills with a demonstrated ability to drive projects to successful completion.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with ability to influence and inspire others.
  • Knowledge of value based care principles, healthcare operations, regulatory requirements.
  • Expertise in data visualization tools (Power BI), statistical analysis, predictive modeling.
