About the position

The Executive Director at Fields Senior Living is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the community, ensuring high occupancy rates, and achieving revenue goals. This role involves leading the sales team, managing departmental functions, and fostering a positive environment for residents and staff. The Executive Director will also engage with residents, families, and team members to maintain a high standard of customer service and community engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare, control, and meet budget and NOI performance.
  • Engage the sales team daily to drive towards 100% occupancy.
  • Ensure all sales and marketing goals are on track and conduct weekly sales meetings.
  • Achieve revenue and census goals through direct implementation of the marketing plan.
  • Supervise all departments to ensure compliance with established policies and procedures.
  • Facilitate communication with key family members every 60 days and respond to inquiries within 48 hours.
  • Host and lead in-services to maintain regulatory compliance and improve customer service.
  • Champion the hiring process for department managers and lead training for new hires.
  • Engage with residents through activities and maintain a hospitable environment.
  • Conduct weekly 1:1 meetings with managers and monitor education needs of team members.
  • Ensure an attractive home environment that fosters engagement and socialization.

Requirements

  • Previous management experience including hiring, coaching, and performance management.
  • Executive Director experience in Assisted Living & Memory Care preferred.
  • Ability to pass a Criminal Background Check and Health Screening including TB test.
  • Washington State Administrator's License required.
  • Current CPR and First Aid Certification.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Empathy for the challenges faced by residents and families.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience working with Dementia residents.
  • Strong computer skills and ability to interact with electronic devices.
