About The Position

The Executive Director at Brookdale Mandarin is responsible for leading the operations of a 149-unit Assisted Living community in Jacksonville, Florida. This role focuses on enhancing resident experiences, managing staff, ensuring financial performance, and maintaining regulatory compliance. The Executive Director will work closely with nearby Memory Care communities to drive growth and foster a collaborative environment, while also promoting professional development and wellness among staff.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• Minimum of three years of operational leadership experience in senior living or related fields.
• Valid administrator license in states where required.
• Valid driver's license and access to a private vehicle for business use.

Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day operations of the Assisted Living community, ensuring high-quality resident experiences and care.
• Develop and implement business plans to enhance community reputation and financial performance.
• Manage community performance against goals, including annual operating and capital budgets.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with the management team and encourage teamwork.
• Recruit, hire, and train high-quality associates, ensuring they meet the needs of residents.
• Maintain positive resident relations and proactively resolve issues.
• Drive sales and marketing efforts to meet occupancy and revenue targets.
• Ensure compliance with Company policies and applicable regulations.
• Oversee preventative maintenance systems and ensure property standards are met.
• Represent the community in local social and civic affairs.
