About the position

The Executive Housekeeper at Sheraton Suites Fort Lauderdale West is responsible for leading the housekeeping team to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction. This role involves overseeing daily operations, developing cleaning protocols, and ensuring that every guest experiences a pristine environment. The Executive Housekeeper will also play a key role in training staff and managing inventory, all while fostering a supportive and efficient work atmosphere.

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate a team of housekeeping staff to uphold cleanliness standards and exceed guest expectations
• Develop and implement cleaning procedures and protocols to ensure the highest level of cleanliness and hygiene
• Oversee daily housekeeping operations, including room cleaning, laundry, and public area maintenance
• Train and mentor staff on proper cleaning techniques, safety procedures, and guest service standards
• Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and public areas to ensure cleanliness and adherence to standards
• Manage inventory and supplies, including ordering and stock control
• Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints with professionalism and efficiency
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences and resolve any issues that may arise

Requirements

• Previous experience in housekeeping or a related field, with supervisory experience preferred
• Strong leadership and organizational skills
• Excellent attention to detail and a passion for cleanliness and hygiene
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities with ease
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Knowledge of cleaning products, equipment, and techniques
