About the position

The Executive IT Support Technician role is a long-term contract position based in San Francisco, California, focused on providing high-level technical support for desktop infrastructure and applications. The technician will serve as the primary point of contact for troubleshooting issues, particularly for executive users, and will utilize their expertise in Microsoft O365 and Windows workstations to resolve incidents effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary contact for troubleshooting issues related to desktop infrastructure and applications such as Outlook, Office, Adobe, network printing, VPN, etc.
  • Handle incident troubleshooting for endpoints and manage task priorities effectively.
  • Utilize strong communication skills to liaise with staff, multiple internal teams, and executive users.
  • Carry out troubleshooting for virtual conferencing systems like Zoom and provide support for conference room technology.
  • Troubleshoot issues related to iPhones and iPads.
  • Review ticket queues and manage tasks based on their priority, while keeping end users updated.
  • Assist in the design and documentation of end user solutions.
  • Configure and deploy Windows Laptops.
  • Play a role in managing and delivering IT-related projects.

Requirements

  • White Glove Support experience required.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Windows is required.
  • Must possess a strong understanding of Active Directory.
  • Proficiency in Office 365 is a necessity.
  • Experience with Laptop Hardware is required.
  • Familiarity with Laptop Images is important.
  • Basic Network Troubleshooting skills are necessary.
  • Basic Troubleshooting ability is essential.
  • Hardware Troubleshooting skills are also required.
  • Network Troubleshooting expertise is a must.
