About the position

The Executive Leadership Coach position at the Fresno County Superintendent of Schools is designed to provide support to various educational entities in building systems that promote student academic and socio-emotional success. The role involves collaborating with districts, schools, and community organizations to develop and implement comprehensive plans aimed at achieving whole child success through data analysis and strategic planning.

Responsibilities

  • Advise districts on the Local Control Accountability Plan (LCAP) coherence and alignment of instructional programs to funding sources.
  • Coach teachers, administrators, and community partners to develop and implement a standards-based instructional program.
  • Collaborate with school districts, public agencies, and institutions of higher education to develop partnerships.
  • Design, pilot, and evaluate innovative professional learning opportunities for educators and regional partners.
  • Collect, analyze, and prepare data to assist districts with program effectiveness and student group analysis.
  • Communicate with local and state organizations to support service contracts and stay current on educational requirements.
  • Conduct asset and needs assessments with schools and districts involving community partners.
  • Coordinate with personnel in planning and developing school activities related to instructional programs.
  • Consult and coach administrators and community partners for effective instructional program implementation.
  • Develop work plans with educational entities to provide tailored support.
  • Provide in-service training for teachers and educational personnel involved in instructional programs.
  • Interpret and explain district, state, and federal regulations to advise administrators on responsibilities.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports to meet fiscal and program requirements.
  • Participate in professional development activities to maintain knowledge.
  • Plan and conduct professional learning around state priorities for continuous improvement efforts.
  • Provide 1:1 coaching to educational leaders for leadership development and capacity building.
  • Attend and participate in various meetings, committees, and special events.

Requirements

  • Doctoral degree in Educational Leadership or related field.
  • Master's degree preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
  • Three years of increasingly responsible experience organizing educational programs.
  • Three years of supervisory experience preferred.
  • Valid Clear California Administrative Services Credential.
  • Valid California driver's license.
