About The Position

WBNG-TV is seeking an Executive News Producer to lead the 12 News team in Binghamton, New York. This senior role will serve as the primary editorial decision maker across various platforms, including TV, web, mobile, and social media. The ideal candidate will be a creative thinker with a passion for storytelling, responsible for producing engaging newscasts and mentoring other producers and multimedia journalists.

Requirements

• A college degree in a relevant field.
• At least 2 years of experience producing in an aggressive newsroom.
• Strong writing skills and solid news judgment.
• Ability to make quick decisions under pressure.
• Adaptability to flexible schedules and changing news environments.

Responsibilities
