About the position

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Office Assistant to support our team in daily administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills and a customer service mindset, ensuring smooth operations within the office. This role involves various responsibilities, including data entry, front desk duties, and assisting with office management tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service by greeting visitors and answering inquiries at the front desk.
  • Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently, ensuring all information is up-to-date in the system.
  • Transcribe documents and maintain organized files for easy access and retrieval.
  • Assist with office management duties, including scheduling appointments and managing calendars.
  • Utilize QuickBooks for basic accounting tasks as needed.
  • Support team members with personal assistant tasks to enhance productivity.
  • Maintain a clean and organized office environment to promote efficiency.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in an office assistant or similar role is preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor.
  • Proficient in data entry with attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with QuickBooks is a plus but not required.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Microsoft Excel (1 year preferred).
  • Experience with Microsoft PowerPoint (1 year preferred).
