About the position

The Executive Partner - Data & Analytics Advisor role at Gartner, Inc. involves managing a portfolio of 25-30 clients, primarily Chief Data Officers from Fortune 100 organizations. This position focuses on delivering value through various engagements such as briefings, workshops, and webinars, leveraging extensive practitioner experience in the Data & Analytics domain. The role emphasizes collaboration with internal teams to ensure client satisfaction and retention while contributing to regional growth through support of sales activities. This is a client-facing position requiring strong executive presence and trust-building capabilities, predominantly working from home with some travel involved.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of 25-30 clients, typically Chief Data Officers from Fortune 100 organizations.
  • Deliver value through regular briefings, workshops, roundtables, webinars, and attendance at relevant Gartner events.
  • Coach and mentor clients on critical initiatives and obstacles in the Data & Analytics space using knowledge and Gartner resources.
  • Collaborate with internal Gartner teams including sales, analysts, and client support managers to ensure value delivery.
  • Responsible for member retention and contributing to regional growth through support of Gartner Sales in prospect cultivation and account plan development.

Requirements

  • 15+ years' experience in an executive Data & Analytics leadership role such as Chief Data Officer, Chief Analytics Officer, or similar positions within a Fortune 500 company.
  • Modern technical skills in enterprise-wide data strategy, governance, and data optimization.
  • Leadership perspective in Business Intelligence, Analytics, and Master Data Management.
  • Expertise in Artificial Intelligence, Generative AI, Machine Learning, and related technologies.
  • Experience in Agile/Bimodal IT, DevOps, Lean Development, and Cloud app deployment.
  • Minimum bachelor's degree required.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in the Healthcare, Banking and Financial Services, or Manufacturing industries.
  • Familiarity with integration strategy and API management.
