A high-net-worth family in Charlotte is seeking an experienced Executive Personal Assistant/Estate Manager. The ideal candidate must have experience supporting a C-level executive in a corporate setting with extensive personal assistant and estate management support. This role is crucial as it involves overseeing both business and personal operations, providing comprehensive estate management, supervising household staff, and interfacing directly with the principals. The successful candidate will be detail-oriented, adaptable, and possess a 24/7 mentality, as the role demands flexibility and responsiveness to the family's needs. The principles are open to considering candidates who are willing to relocate for this opportunity. The responsibilities of the Executive Personal Assistant/Estate Manager include scheduling and coordinating the principals' calendar, managing calls and meetings, and ensuring the smooth flow of necessary information with the business Executive Assistant. The role also involves arranging personal global and domestic travel in collaboration with travel agents and the aviation team, as well as scheduling and confirming personal appointments and reservations for the family. Additionally, the candidate will oversee the large estate, managing outside vendors and contractors, and coordinating construction projects with project managers and designers for a second home. The position requires the candidate to provide access to the estate for vendors and monitor the progress of repairs. The Executive Personal Assistant will also be responsible for hiring and managing household staff, assisting with basic household chores and errands until a full-time housekeeper or driver can be hired. Ensuring that the home is organized and restocked, the candidate will work collaboratively with third-party organizers and compile a complete household manual. Event coordination and gift planning are also part of the role, along with managing bills and bookkeeping related to the family, including logistics for children's schools and activities. The candidate will also maintain the upkeep and maintenance of personal vehicles and handle other ad-hoc projects as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Schedule and coordinate principals' calendar; schedule calls and meetings, coordinating activities, managing relationships and necessary information flow with business EA
  • Coordinate pertinent calendar information with the business EA
  • Arrange personal global and domestic travel with travel agents and aviation team
  • Schedule and confirm personal appointments and reservations for family

Requirements

  • Extensive experience in a C-Level executive support role in a corporate setting, in addition to personal assistant and household experience with a high net worth individual
  • 5 days onsite with some flexibility
