About the position

We are seeking a responsible Executive Assistant to provide personalized secretarial and administrative support to a small business owner who operates a dog and horse business. This role requires a dedicated individual who can manage a variety of tasks related to the executive's working life and communication. The Executive Assistant will work closely with the owner on a one-to-one basis, ensuring that all tasks are completed in a well-organized and timely manner. The position is part-time, with a schedule of 4 hours per day from Monday to Friday, and is based at the business location in Uniontown, OH. The Executive Assistant will be responsible for performing errands that are both personal and business-related, which may include scheduling appointments for animals, organizing records, and assisting with marketing tasks. The ideal candidate must have a genuine love for dogs and horses, as these are integral to the business. Additionally, the role involves screening and directing phone calls, managing correspondence, and helping with hiring needs. The Executive Assistant will also manage the executive's calendar, schedule meetings and appointments, and make travel arrangements as needed. In this position, the Executive Assistant will maintain both personal and business schedules for the busy executive, assist with various business needs, produce reports, presentations, and briefs, and devise and maintain an efficient office filing system. The role may also involve helping with office and accounting systems, ensuring that all administrative tasks are handled with discretion and confidentiality.
