About the position

Black & Bould LLC is a pioneering organization dedicated to promoting health and wellness education and experiences among BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and People of Color) communities. Rooted in the vibrant locale of Boulder County, our mission is to empower individuals with the knowledge and tools necessary to optimize their well-being, fostering a culture of proactive self-care and advocacy. We are seeking a passionate and organized Executive Personal Assistant (EPA) to support the Founder & Creative Director in building and launching Black & Bould LLC while also managing a busy personal schedule. This is a fast-paced, dynamic role that requires a high level of initiative, creativity, and attention to detail. You will wear many hats and play a vital role in the success of our organization. In this role, you will be responsible for a variety of traditional and domestic tasks. Traditional responsibilities include providing administrative support by managing multiple calendars, scheduling appointments, coordinating travel arrangements, and handling correspondence. You will assist with project management, conduct research, negotiate partnership agreements, and develop comprehensive fundraising strategies to support organizational goals. Additionally, you will prepare expense reports, manage important documents, assist in creating presentations, and support marketing efforts through email blasts and social media content creation. On the domestic side, you will be responsible for dog walking, house sitting, and occasionally driving the family. Effective communication skills, organization, problem-solving abilities, confidentiality, and flexibility are essential for this role. You will need to be adaptable and willing to take on new tasks as needed, ensuring smooth operations within the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Manage multiple calendars and schedule appointments.
  • Coordinate travel arrangements and handle correspondence.
  • Assist with project planning, tracking, and coordination.
  • Conduct research on various topics as needed.
  • Negotiate partnership agreements and sponsorship packages.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive fundraising strategies.
  • Prepare and submit expense reports.
  • Organize and file important documents.
  • Assist with the creation and preparation of presentations.
  • Assist with marketing efforts, including email blasts and press releases.
  • Create engaging content for social media platforms and manage online communities.
  • Regularly walk and care for the family dog.
  • Oversee the home and pets when the family is away.
  • Occasionally drive the family or run errands.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, nonprofit management, marketing, or related field.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in fundraising, partnership development, or related roles.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with diverse stakeholders.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute creative fundraising strategies.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office/Google Suite, donor management software, and online fundraising platforms.
  • Commitment to Black & Bould's mission and values, with a passion for social impact and community development.
  • Proficiency in social media platforms, especially TikTok and Instagram.
  • Basic graphic design skills are a plus.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
  • Passion for health and wellness within the BIPOC community.
