About the position

We are seeking a dedicated and versatile Executive Personal Assistant to support a single professional father who is managing multiple businesses while raising his children. This role is ideal for someone who embodies a 'can-do' attitude and is willing to take on a variety of tasks that may range from childcare to administrative duties. The position requires a reliable individual who can manage their time effectively and work from a list of tasks, ensuring that all responsibilities are completed in a timely manner. The ideal candidate will have experience in non-familial childcare or teaching, as well as some form of personal or house helper assisting experience. Experience in real estate or paralegal work is a plus, but not mandatory. As an Executive Personal Assistant, your duties will include all aspects of childcare, such as preparing meals, assisting with showers, and engaging in playtime. You will also be responsible for running errands, shopping, and managing school drop-offs and pick-ups. The role may require overnight care for the children when the father travels for work, which occurs approximately two times a month for 2-3 days at a time. Additionally, you will be tasked with scheduling appointments, managing mini-projects, and performing cleaning duties as needed. This position offers a unique opportunity to learn about various professions and businesses, as the father operates in real estate development, hospitality, luxury home construction, and more. This is a part-time or full-time position with some flexibility in days and hours. The starting pay is $20 per hour, with the potential to transition into a salaried position. Some work can be performed from home, but the majority will require in-person attendance in Scottsdale, AZ. Candidates must have reliable transportation and a clean driving record, as well as the ability to work weekends as needed. The emphasis is on finding someone who is trustworthy, honest, and punctual, with strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Provide all aspects of childcare including meals, showers, and playtime.
  • Run errands and do shopping as needed.
  • Manage school drop-offs and pick-ups.
  • Provide overnight care for children while the father travels for work (approximately 2 times a month for 2-3 days).
  • Schedule personal and professional appointments.
  • Assist with mini projects as assigned.
  • Perform cleaning duties if required.

Requirements

  • Must be 21 years of age or older.
  • Experience in non-familial childcare or teaching.
  • Some form of personal or house helper assisting experience.
  • Experience in paralegal/title company or real estate is a plus.
  • Safe and reliable transportation with a clean driving record.
  • Availability to work weekends and manage outside distractions.
  • Ability to work from a list and manage tasks effectively.
  • Light bookkeeping experience is a plus but not required.
  • Must be trustworthy, honest, reliable, and punctual.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask and work at a high rate of achievement.
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Word and Excel.
