About the position

The Senior Manager - Senior Leader Recruitment is responsible for leading strategic recruitment efforts for key positions across the company, particularly for senior leadership roles. This role involves close collaboration with C-suite executives and Business HR partners to understand leadership hiring needs, engage with the external job market, and build a pipeline of top candidates. The Senior Manager will also work to improve recruiter capabilities and enhance the overall talent acquisition process.

Responsibilities

  • Execute end-to-end recruitment efforts for experienced senior leadership and high impact roles across all functions.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to review, analyze, and clarify job specifications, competencies, and skills required.
  • Educate and guide hiring managers on standard practices in assessment, selection, and planning techniques.
  • Proactively set up a communication cadence with stakeholders.
  • Partner with the Executive Committee and Senior Leadership Teams to facilitate candidate discussions.
  • Ensure a high-quality experience for both candidates and hiring managers throughout the hiring process.
  • Source candidates through various channels including networking, referrals, and online platforms.
  • Build and manage long-term talent pipelines for critical senior leadership roles.
  • Serve as a trusted subject matter expert for hiring managers in a full lifecycle recruiting environment.
  • Build and maintain a deep understanding of each business function's priorities and optimal candidate profiles.
  • Identify and implement process improvements in recruitment with the Director of Talent Supply.
  • Lead coaching sessions with recruiters to improve sourcing and stakeholder management.
  • Support strategic talent acquisition initiatives in collaboration with HR and Centers of Excellence.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of professional full-lifecycle recruitment experience in a matrixed organization, focusing on senior leadership roles.
  • Previous experience partnering with Executive Committee and Senior Leadership Team hiring managers is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of recruiting best practices, including structured hiring processes and candidate evaluation.
  • Ability to understand the dynamics of business functions and organizational needs.
  • A continuous improvement mindset with a demonstrated ability to identify areas for enhancement in recruitment processes.
  • Proven ability to build and manage relationships with hiring managers and senior leaders.
  • Strong sourcing capabilities across multiple channels, including internet platforms and networking.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, focusing on creating a seamless experience for candidates and hiring managers.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and experience with Applicant Tracking Systems.
  • Strong oral and written communication and influencing skills.
