About the position

We are seeking a results-focused Executive Recruiter who will provide strategic partnership and insight within the Executive Search function for the most senior talent planning and hiring needs at Takeda. This role is crucial in providing strategic business partnership to identify and execute on recruitment needs at the top level of the company globally, supporting business growth and driving performance while understanding the overall life-science market and talent landscape. The Executive Recruiter will lead the execution of internal and external senior-level recruitment, ensuring a white-glove executive search delivery. This includes end-to-end global executive recruitment responsibilities, identifying and engaging with potential talent for current and future opportunities. In this position, you will create and innovate talent intelligence strategies in partnership with our Executive Talent Intelligence Lead, providing data and insights to senior leaders and planning appropriate talent attraction strategies to drive interest in Takeda. You will champion diverse slate activities during the executive recruitment process and create a best-in-class recruitment experience for candidates. Cross-collaboration is key, as you will build connections with executives and leadership teams in client groups, HR, Compensation, Talent Acquisition, and Talent Development. You will track milestones and timelines across executive projects, analyzing risks and issues as needed, and adjusting project plans, timelines, or resources to ensure successful project delivery. Additionally, you will monitor and report on key talent acquisition metrics as well as cost avoidance for the Global Executive Search function, driving and leading continuous improvement in the executive search recruitment process and outcomes. Managing relationships with third-party agencies will also be part of your responsibilities.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 8+ years of experience in talent acquisition and executive search, ideally in the life sciences industry.
  • Previous experience working with complex executive offers.
  • Ability to partner and influence at the most senior levels of the organization.
  • Excellent customer relationship and organizational skills.
  • Experience with full cycle executive search processes.
  • Passion for delivering 'white glove' service coupled with speed and efficiency.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced and ambiguous environment.
