In addition to the specific departmental responsibilities, the Executive Recruiting Coordinator will also engage in general HR functions. This includes coordinating, processing, verifying, and maintaining HR-related work, which encompasses recruitment, training, benefits administration, employee relations, performance evaluations, classifications, I-9 processing, and managing employee leaves of absence. The coordinator will research and analyze HR-related topics to assist in resolving issues and creating effective solutions. They will also be tasked with creating, compiling, preparing, and analyzing reports and documents related to HR activities, ensuring that all information is current and accurate for candidates, employees, and retirees. The role requires a high level of confidentiality, as the coordinator will maintain sensitive employee records and documents. Responsibilities

  • Coordinates multiple virtual and on-campus candidate interviews with university leaders, faculty, search committee members, and grad students.
  • Collaborates with departmental administration support to coordinate and manage on-campus interview logistics.
  • Coordinates and documents all aspects of candidate travel including booking flights, making hotel accommodations, and ground transportation for on-campus interviews.
  • Handles multiple IU systems to ensure compliance with established procedures.
  • Coordinates, processes, verifies, and maintains HR related work, which may include recruitment, training, benefits, employee relations, performance evaluations, classifications, I-9s, and employee leaves of absences.
  • Researches and analyzes HR related topics to assist in resolving issues and/or creating solutions.
  • Creates, compiles, prepares, and analyzes reports and documents for HR related activities.
  • Performs and may coordinate data entry for processing transactions and maintaining current information for candidates, employees, and/or retirees on various HR issues.
  • Provides administrative and related support to other HR staff.
  • Supports and maintains HR programs and events; maintains up-to-date records of actions, decisions, and time frames.
  • Maintains high standards of confidentiality of all employee records and documents.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent (such as HSED or GED).
  • 3 years HR related experience plus advanced experience with Microsoft Office Suite products.
  • Demonstrates customer service skills.
