About the position

The Executive/Social Media Assistant at Slimeatory is a vital role that combines administrative support for the executive team with the management and growth of the company's social media presence. This position requires a proactive and detail-oriented individual who is tech-savvy and creative, capable of handling various tasks ranging from scheduling and correspondence to content creation and social media strategy execution.

Responsibilities

  • Manage executive calendars, including scheduling meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements.
  • Write, send out, and answer emails on behalf of the executive team.
  • Handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
  • Assist with the preparation of reports, presentations, and other documents.
  • Coordinate and prioritize daily tasks and projects for the executive team.
  • Organize and manage files, documents, and communication for the executive team.
  • Create, curate, and schedule engaging content across all social media platforms.
  • Monitor social media channels for trends, comments, and messages, and respond appropriately.
  • Assist in developing and executing social media strategies to increase brand awareness and engagement.
  • Analyze and report on social media metrics to measure the success of campaigns.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends and tools.
  • Conduct research and analysis on various topics to support decision-making processes or help with presentations.
  • Organize events such as meet & greets, grand openings, and other company events that require excellent coordination and attention to detail.
  • Mentor and manage junior staff members, delegate tasks, and lead by example.
  • Maintain confidentiality on sensitive information regarding the executive's personal or professional life.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as an Executive Assistant, Administrative Assistant, or Social Media Assistant.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
  • Proficiency in social media platforms and tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, Canva).
  • Experience with content creation and graphic design is a plus.
  • High level of discretion and professionalism.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or related field is preferred.

Nice-to-haves
