Self-Help Credit Union is seeking an Executive Staff Climate Capital to join our team in Charlotte, NC. This position is pivotal in providing executive-level project leadership for strategic initiatives related to the implementation of the Greenhouse Gas Reduction Fund. The Executive Staff member will be responsible for managing projects that aim to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the organization’s operations, particularly in delivering clean energy products and services to underserved communities. The role requires a deep understanding of climate finance and clean energy, as well as a commitment to economic justice and inclusion. In this role, you will develop and implement strategic programs and projects, ensuring that they align with the organization’s goals. You will communicate with the Coordinating Committee to set project goals, define project plans, and manage both internal and external coordination of projects. Continuous analysis of project progress will be essential to ensure success and adaptability to changing conditions. You will also assess organizational effectiveness and identify solutions to address any inefficiencies. The Executive Staff member will track activities requiring the CEO's attention and provide functional expertise across the organization. You will support relationships with key partners and act as a change agent to drive economic inclusion initiatives, integrating supplier diversity into vendor management.
